The 1st XV had a fantastic 5-32 win over the league leaders at Garstang. 4 smart tries from Ed Sinclair, Nick Roberts [x2]and Connor Fletcher. 3 conversions and 2 penalties by Nathon Burns gave Garstang their heaviest defeat of the season.
Clitheroe remain in 4th place in the table, just 3 points behind Bury. But with Colne & Nelson having 2 games in hand, in 5th place, the positions could easily change before the season is out.

The 2s had a tougher time of it at Bolton with a 29-10 reverse. 2 tries from Matt Bleasdale; but it was great to see some old stagers squeeze into the maroon and gold shirt again. Hopefully many more times.
