Mini & Junior

Rugby for boys and girls, U6 to U16

Sunday morning rugby for five-year-olds taking their first steps in the game, all the way through to colts feeding into senior rugby. Fun, fundamentals, and friendships for life.

This season our teams run from U7/8 to the Warriors (U13/14). We're rebuilding our U15, U16 and Colts squads, so older players are especially welcome.

The pathway

Age groups

Mini Rugby (U6 – U11)

Sunday morning rugby for our youngest players — boys and girls. The focus is fun, fundamentals, and friendships.

Training

Sundays 9.30am and Wednesdays 6pm

Juniors (U12 – U16)

Contact rugby through the age grades. Squads train midweek and play on Sundays across the North-West. This season our oldest squad is the Warriors (U13/14), and we're rebuilding U15 and U16, so older players are very welcome.

Training

U12s: Sundays 9.30am and Wednesdays 6pm. Warriors: Sundays 11am and Thursdays 6pm

Colts (U17 – U18)

Our pathway from juniors to senior rugby — a tight-knit squad that has produced many of our 1st XV players. We don't have a Colts squad this season and want to rebuild one: if you're 16 to 18, get in touch.

New families welcome

Bringing your child along

New families are always welcome at Silcock Park. We'll meet you, introduce you to the coaches and other parents, and find a group that suits your child's age and confidence.

  • All sessions led by RFU-qualified, DBS-checked coaches
  • Safeguarding is a club-wide priority; our safeguarding lead can be reached through the contact page
  • Boots and gumshields are required for contact age groups; the club shop has both
