Get involved
Volunteer at Silcock Park
Clitheroe RUFC is run by volunteers. Whether you can spare an afternoon a season or a few hours a week, there's a way to help that fits around you.
From the President and Chairman
Behind every great club are great people
So much of what happens at Clitheroe happens away from the pitch, and all of it is done by people who give their time. We're looking for more of them. Bob Wilkinson, our President, and Dave Watson, our Chairman, on what we need and why it matters.
You don't need to be a rugby expert. You might be a former player looking for a different way to stay involved, someone wanting to give something back locally, or someone with skills, ideas or a little time to share.
Run by volunteers
Every match day starts with someone saying yes
From the minis on a Sunday morning to the senior sides on a Saturday, everything at the club happens because people give their time: coaching, running the bar, marking the pitches, looking after sponsors, taking the photos.
You don't need to know rugby, and you don't need to commit every week. Helping out once is a fine place to start, and it's a good way to meet people and be part of something in the Ribble Valley.

Ross
Coach, social events and the barbecue
Ross has coached and helps out all round the club, especially on social nights. On the barbecue, he's a star.
Watch on Facebook →Jess
Valley Vixens captain
Jess captains our women's team and is focused on growing the girls' side here at the club.
Watch on Facebook →Kelly
Club Secretary and Safeguarding Officer
Kelly first came down bringing her kids to rugby, ended up playing for the Vixens, and is now our club secretary and safeguarding officer. She brings energy and structure, and it's brilliant to have her around the club.
