Ollie MacEntyre's 1st XV are at Littlemoor this Saturday [ko 2.30] where the visitors are Littleborough 2's.
The two clubs have not faced each other for a few seasons, so it should be an interesting match up.
The visitors relitively lowley position in the 2N table [12th] belies a team that put over 50 points on Ormskirk last week. So any complacency could be punished by a team that knows it's way over the whitewash.
Clitheroe will be relishing the chance to make amends of their reverse at Fleetwood last week in front of their own supporters.
Our referee at Littlemoor, is Mr. Chris McDermott of the Manchester Soc.
Meanwhile Pundys 2nds make the shortish trip down to Astley Village, Chorley to entertain thier 2nd XV.
Always nip and tuck against Chorley and the lads will be wanting to repeat and continue the excellent showing from last week.
The England V Samoa game will be on in the clubhouse folllowing the 1st XV game as usual.
Followed by ....the by now famous "Race Night" (part II)....get down to have a flutter on the horses, or Ollie will bore you to death on the finer points of National Hunt racing and tell you what a good read the Racing Post is...you have been warned.
