Clitheroe welcome back old rivals Chorley to Littlemoor this weekend [ko 3.00pm] for what promises to be a tough encounter. Chorley have been improving since a disasterous start to thier campaign, being trounced 56-0 at North manchester. In fact they have had a steady improvement;- loosing 18-3 against Tarleton & just being shaded 13-12 at Windermere, finally impressively overturning Colne and Nelson 17-0.
Chorley struggled last season to field a competitive team, but clearly they are a different prospect this term.
With the pitch still surprisingly firm and fingers crossed for a dry[ish] weekend, it should be a good old fashioned tussle.
Our referee is [scheduled to be] Mr. Geoff Mills, who will be made more than welcome at Littlemoor.
The Cavaliers have no fixture, as scheduled opponents Wigan, have dropped out of the League, leaving the lads kicking thier heals once again.
