The 1st XV game against North Manchester has bee postponed again. This time the pitch is far far too wet after a thaw of 10 days ice plus heavy over night rain gave us no option.
Anyway the cost of rescuing our heavyweight Skipper from the mire with a helicopter is more than the Club finances will stand.
This means the 1st XV have not had a competitve match since the 15th November, when they beat Hawcoat Park at Littlemoor. Three postponements is not the ideal preparation.
This coming Sat. [20th] they travel for a tricky encounter at Windermere.
Meanwhile the Cavaliers host Preston GH at Littlemoor [hopefully]
