After a few weeks of inactivity, the 1st XV managed to get a game under their belts.
Second placed Birchfield were the hosts, and luckily they secured an afternoon at the Halton Stadium [capacity 13,500] home of Widnes Vikings RL side.
The excellent 3G rubber crumb pitch was a bit fast for some of our lads[!] but it was a great experience for the players and the home & travelling support.
Thanks for the Birchfield club for organising the game. Not for the result though!
