It was a busy weekend for the Sinclairs.
On Saturday Ed Sinclair, our former 1st XV captain and still very much part of the squad, scored one of our four tries in the 26-12 win over Ashton-under-Lyne, taking a quick tap penalty and going over. On Sunday it was his son Kit's turn, playing for our Under 7s against Littleborough.
Ed shared this photo of the two of them after Kit's game, and we wanted to share it with everyone.
As a club we focus on families. Mums, dads, sons and daughters all have a place here, on the pitch, on the touchline and in the clubhouse. Seeing Kit start his rugby journey at Clitheroe, following in his dad's footsteps, is inspiring, and it's what we want the club to be about.
Well played Kit, and well played Ed. We're looking forward to watching you both.
If your son or daughter would like to give rugby a go, come down and see us at Silcock Park or get in touch through the website.
