Bobs 2nds came second as Blackburn 3's overcame a halftime deficit to win 8-24 at Littlemoor.
It was an exciting derby day match for the sizeable crowd, though perhaps Blackburn's greater experience told in the end. But on the plus side there was a healthy number of players queuing up to don the maroon and gold shirt - even the skipper had to drop himself!
Good to see James 'Poddy' Poydevyn back in Clitheroe colours after several years of inaction, plus the play of several youngsters caught the eye of the watching selectors.
