Our 36th Annual Dinner and Awards Presentations went off swimmingly in the Clubhouse last night.
A splendid three course meal was followed by the speches and awards.
Club Captain Nathan Peel regaled us with many anecdotes and witty stories from the past season. He was followed by the 2nd XV Captain[s] Steve Dowson and Andrew Thornber who recapped the excellent promotion season for the 2nd XV, which sees them playing in the rarefied atmosphere of 4N next term!
The presentation of awards followed;
2nd XV Players Player - Craig Procter
2nd XV Most Improved Player - Richard Thornber
Coach's Player of the Season - Tom Hardman
1st XV Most Improved Player - Stuart Railton
1st XV - Players Player - Luke Hayton
The evening continued in fine style till the early hours. probably best not to examine the details too closely......................
