A packed Club house at Littlemoor was the setting for the 32nd Annual Dinner.
The President, Colin Silcock, welcomed guests old and new to the Club, before handing over the floor to the 2nd and 1st team Captains; Simon Rawstron and Oliver McEntyre.
During thier own witty [not often], funny [now and again], interesting speeches [well...], both skippers in thier own way gave praise and thanks to the players and backroom staff who had turned out over the past season.
Principal Awards went to:
Players Player 1st XV - Martin Lafrancheschina
Players Player 2nd XV - Simon Rawston
Most Improvered Player - Tom Redfern
Most Improved Player 2nd XV - Matt Bleasedale
PS. There a couple of deplorable incidents. The cad who turned up without a jacket, plus a certain 1st XV back row being helped away, by the bar staff, after becoming a little too "tired and emotional"
