The 2nd XV got back to winning ways, with a good win over a youthful Colne & Nelson outfit.
Interestingly enough there is a 'return' match this coming Saturday [22nd]. when the same teams meet up in the postponed 2nd round Raging Bull Plate fixture. The winners face a trip to play Bolton in the third round.
This tie is scheduled for away at Colne but there may be a venue swap...watch this space for conformation.
The 1st XV game at Crosby was called off Saturday morning, due to waterlogged pitch. This game is rescheduled for the 23rd February.
The next 1st XV fixture is against Colne & Nelson 1sts on 5th January.
