Easter Monday was one to forget for the lads who made themselves available to play for Clitheroe.
The 1st team, containing several enforced changes from Friday, went down 35-15 to Fylde. After an early lead things looked good for Clitheroe, but Fylde used thier strong and almost inexhaustable supply of replacements to good effect, to wrap the game up.
The 2nds again were leading for a while at Blackpool, but let the home side back in it and grow in confidence. Thus it was the seasiders who were deserved winners 47-15.
A special mention to the last minute stand in replacement ref, who had a fine game and was even handed throughout.
Perhaps if more players had made themselves available to play the results may have been different - but full marks for all who turned out over the weekend.
