Bad Saturday at Littlemoor

Thornton Cleveleys were too strong for Clitheroe at Littlemoor on Saturday. Proving their worth as promotion candidates.

However a broken leg for Clitheroe full back Martin Lafranceschina after an innocuous tackle spoilt the day for all concerned.

Thanks must go out to the Air and ground Ambulance staff who were tremendous, and also to the Thornton players and staff who helped out so well.
Martin was back home on Sunday potted up and hopefully will be on the mend very soon.
