This Saturday we welcome Chorley back to Littlemoor, but this time it's the 2nd XV.
After the disapointing result by the 1st XV last week, the Cavaliers under the guidance of Captain Simon 'Windy' Rawstron will be eager to level the series.
Chorley lie one place above Clitheroe in Miller Homes 5N, equal on points, but they have a superior points difference. The visitors have had some big wins already this season - last week 24-8 v PGH 7th, a 107-5[!] win against Blackpool and 25-0 v Garstang. But have lost against Carnforth 27-7 and Thornton 41-12.
Clitheroe have been out of action for two weeks, but some of the regular Cavaliers have been helping out the 1st XV, as they have been suffering from unavailabilities and injuries, so will be fairly match fit[?].
A welcome sight on the bench for the Cavaliers is former Club Captain Dave 'Wide-Boy' Watson, making a tentitive return to the fray after injury.
With the weather cold but dry, the pitch should be in fine fettle for a 2.30pm bully off.
Our Referee is (scheduled to be) Mr. Adrian Booth. - always welcome at Littlemoor.
