The Cavaliers went down to Chorley 28-19, but at least scored three tries themselves. [see match report]
The injury curse struck again, with both Paul Woodworth and Chris Williams retiring hurt.
Livewire threequarter Paul suffered a shoulder injury on his return match from a similar problem.
Back rower Chris had a nasty knock on the nose end, and spilled an impressive amount of the claret stuff.
We hope for a swift return to action for the pair of you.
On a 'lighter' note - Dave Wide Boy Watson made a return to action as a sub on Saturday and managed to last the course.
But there is still the likes of Ollie McEntyre, Steve Dowson and Mick Rowley lingering on the sick list.
With half term over there should be no excuse, not to be available, for the skiving teaching types in the club.
Especially with two attractive games to look forward to - old chums, Carnforth hosting the 1sts, and the Cavaliers welcoming Blackpool to Littlemoor.
