Clitheroe Senior Colts withdraw from the League

This is purely down to thre lack of players available on a regular basis. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you to all the teams we have played and please accept our apologies at not being able to continue.

We are only a relatively small club and have worked hard to try and build a Colts side that would strengthen our playing membership at this much needed age group. We have seen a number of new and exciting players come into the club playing both Colts and Senior rugby and this justifies our efforts. We have just found it difficult to maintain the momentum we had at the start of the season and whilst injuries to key players in critical positions hasn't helped our cause it's purely down to a lack of numbers that's led us to this point.

Finally, it is our sincere hope that as many players as possible decide to go onto play for the senior sides and that we have enough players to call on when pulling together a Junior and/or Senior Colts side for the forthcoming season 2010/11.

If you are at all interested in playing for us now or next season please contact me using bobjwilkinson@gmail.com or on 07962 099935.
