Everyone at Clitheroe Rugby Club shares the sorrow of the entire nation following the announcement from Buckingham Palace on the passing of Her Majesty The Queen yesterday evening.
We recognise her immense contribution to public life, including to our very own sport here in the United Kingdom, across the Commonwealth, and around the World and we join the rugby family in sending our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to The Royal Family.
With regards to this and next weekend's fixtures we currently await advice from both the RFU and Lancashire Rugby and will update everyone as soon as we understand how we best proceed.
