Clitheroe 1stXV open their campaign in North Lancs 2 with tricky vist to Tarleton.
Tarleton have rejoined the league this season after an internal rift, which saw a section of the club leave and form Hutton RUFC, who are also in this division. (making for an interesting 'derby' match!)
Tarleton had a narrow win against Birchfield [15-8] in the Lancashire Plate last Saturday, but Clitheroe should be back to full strength after work/holiday/cricket commitments finish. Keep a watch for team news later in the week.
The Cavaliers, meanwhile, host Fleetwood. Both teams hoping they can actually get a game, no doubt. As Fleetwoods' opener against Garstang has also fallen foul of the weather today.
Again, team news to follow.........
