Another heady day at Clitheroe RUFC, saw both teams secure good victories.
The 1st beat Oldham 2's 42-8 and go top of the league.
The 2nds beat Preston GH 35-17 and in doing so secured promotion to Division 4N.
The 2's could go up as champions if they win this Saturday at Blackpool and Orrell St James come unstuck at Hoppers.
The 1sts need to win at Vale of Lune on Saturday to garner a promotion spot. Depending on results in their's and other games they could occupy either of the top 3 places this time next week.
All that aside, both teams have gone through the home campaign undefeated this season - a tremendous achievement.
