In our first warm up game we were delighted to welcome back Chorley RFC to Littlemoor..
As its always difficult to muster troops for an away trip on a Bank Holiday weekend we are grateful to the players and officials from Chorley who made it happen.
Clitheroe started the stronger and Chorley finished brightly in a very open and at times scrappy encounter..
But for both clubs it was an opportunity to see how some players had summered. A assesses the fitness and form of others.
A shed load of positives came out of the day; including highlighting the areas to work on going forward to this weekend at Skipton and on for our first league fixture against old friends Carnforth on the 6th September.
