Fleetwood Match Postponed, Cavaliers Win

The 1st XV fixture at Fleetwood was called off due to waterlogged pitches on the Fylde. Indeed only two matches were played in Div 3N; at Vale of Lune and Upper Eden.

At Littlemoor, the pitch a bit soggy but playable, produced an open game with the 2nds overcoming Garstang 3's 39-15. Including a hat trick for the the Ginger Menace Tom Redfearn. Not bad for a lad who had never picked up a rugby ball in anger before September!

Thanks to Mr. Tim White, of the Manchester Society, for his sympathetic refereeing and handling of the game in the conditions.
