The 2022 Former Players lunch went down a treat prior to the Blackpool game.
A goodly contingent of wrinklies met up to brag about past glories and revel in rugby fraternisation of the best sort.
A pleasant lunch followed by the Loyal Toast - proposed by Organiser in Chief Andrew Burrill, who gave a brief welcome and introduction to Chairman Bob Wilkinson.
Apart from toasting a recently departed ex player - who wasn't ["I saw him yesterday!" a shout from the floor] the formalities were mercifully brief.
A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Roll on the Life Members Lunch in the New Year (different but similar)
