After several weeks of inactivity the 2's got to play rugby.
Paradoxically on probably the wettest day of this wet pet period the ran up a good score over at Fylde.
After scoring two quick tries , Fylde came back to close the gap.
Clitheroe then turned on the style and produced some great rugby in horrendous conditions to ease away to finish up worthy winner 15-50.
A great game, which was sympathetically refereed to allow both teams to enjoy their rugby, in what was one of the few games to go ahead in Lancashire that day.
The 1st XV game v Penrith was postponed at Littlemoor, as the tide was up.
