This weekend sees the 1st rounds of the Raging Bull Cup competitions for both our teams.
(Raging Bull being the sportswear company headed by former England prop Phil Vickery...not the chef of the same name)
The 1st XV travel to Garstang to play thier 2's in the R.B. Trophy.
Although operating in 3N, Garstang are fresh off the back of a good win over Broughton 1sts and will be tough opposition on thier own Hudson Park pitch.
The 2nds are at Littlemoor playing in the Plate competition, hosting BAE Warton 1sts.
The visitors lie just above Clitheroe in the table and although the teams have not yet met in the league [4th Dec] it should be a tight match.
Kick off now is 2:30 and our referee is Mr. Andrew Hunter from the Manchester Soc.
The England v New Zealand game will be shown straight afterwards on the big screen...all welcome!
