Lat Games of the Season... nearly
1sts @ Littlemoor, 2nds travel to Bolton. Followed by the 35th Annual Dinner.
Friday, 19 April 2013By Roger Holmes
Well, the final games are almost upon us. How quickly it seems to come round.
The 1st XV sign off their campaign at Littlemoor, hosting Old Bedians.
Apart from Waddy's little finger giving up the ghost, Captain Nathan Peel has a small but competitive squad at his disposal.
After last weekends rousing victory over Eagle they will be looking to follow on with a similar performance.
Clitheroe welcome back Jim Smith and Tom Hardman in the front row in an otherwise largely unchanged line up.
Kick off is at 3pm and our referee is Mr. Michael Hornby from the MADREFS.
Meanwhile Bob's 2nd XV, without a game for a couple of weeks have a shortish trip to Bolton.
The Captain has manged to cajole/threaten/bribe a few old faces out of the woodwork to make a full team. Well done lads. Enjoy!

Of course the rugby is only there to build up an appetite for the 35th Annual Dinner, in the Clubhouse on Saturday evening.
Now I wouldn't say the 1st XV Captain is panicking over his speech but don't let me stop you reminding him about it.
But more importantly, who will scoop the prizes this year? Players player? - is the voting rigged, will Ralph vote for himself again??
Will Gretts have a hat trick of wins on the heads and tails? Just what the hell is the Chairman talking about - jackets on, jackets off?
All these and more relevant question will possibly answered tomorrow night.
