It is with a heavy heart we have learned recently of the sudden passing of Martyn Emmott.
Martyn was Club Captain in both 1983-4 & 1984-5 seasons and was Chairman from 1985-87.
An excellent robust old school fly half with a tremendous boot, he had a tactical nous second to none.
Off the pitch he was well respected by many a generation of player and his unassuming modest nature hid a dry sense of humour.
Certainly one of life's gentlemen and will be sorely missed & our condolences go out to his family & friends.
Martyn's funeral is to be held at Skipton Crematorium on Monday 1st December at 10.20am
Old rugby friends of Martyn's are welcome to attend.
