After three seasons in the hot seat, Ben Graves steps back into the ranks, to be replaced by newly elected Club Captain for the 2009-10 season - William Oliver McEntyre, or Ollie Mac to one and all.
Introducing Your New Skipper......
Ollie has been a member of Clitheroe RUFC for more years than he cares to remember. But was part of the promotion team of many moons ago.[b&w pic!!] He also still claims to be on the 'right side' of forty.
Ollie is an alumuni of Myerscough College (where all the best Clitheroe skippers come from), where he Captained the College team.
After many years of pig farming, he now works at something for Barclays Bank, driving around Cumbria generally annoying poor farmers.
He lists his other interests, beside of course his lovely wife and children, er...horse racing...and ..horse racing.
He also seems inseparatable from that garment he is wearing, "it's actually called a gillet" [pictured], though he claims not to actually sleep in it...that often.
Good Luck for the new season Ol!
