In the first game of the new year Clitheroe travel to Didsbury side Old Bedians.
The hosts lie two places above the Littlemoor side but appear to having as a frustrating season as the maroons.
In their last game they were just shaded out of it at 29-26 at Crosby St Marys.
Earlier in the season at Clitheroe, Bedians won 11-12 just kicking a penalty at the death to clinch it.
So a good close tussle, if the weather improves, is on the cards.
There is no 2nd XV fixture this week so anyone at a loose end is welcome to travel to support and have a few beers. If it's raining, Bed's have a nice clubhouse, I recall!
