Penrith 3's have resigned from league 3N
According to their website, it is lack of players from their 'A' XV (2nds) who play in the RFU Cumbria league, that has forced the issue for them.
This unfortunate news reduces 3N to now just 11 teams, with Wigan & Sale pulling out earlier in the season.
The effect on us is;
1. Potentially two less fixtures - including a home game - not good
2. No 1st XV game on 2nd January now* - not so bad
3. We move up to 2nd in the table by default
* The 1st XV v Leigh 3's AWAY is now on 23rd January
