Presidents Day is nearly upon us, Saturday 9th May to be exact.
Always a highlight of the season and is the traditional way of bringing the curtain down on another year at Littlemoor.
Two teams will battle it out for the Nick Hopwood Memorial Trophy and the Man of the Match receives the coveted Bob Howarth Memorial Trophy. [pictured]
Nick Hopwood was Clitheroe RUFC's first President and tragically passed away in the same year as Bob Howarth who was Club Chairman at the time.
It is in the memory of these two gentlemen we play on this day.
Ladies, gents and guests are extremely welcome to join in the convivial ambiance of the day.
Kick off is at 3pm, but the bar will be open long before & after that.
We encourage 'old stagers' and ex - Clitheroe players as well as the current crop to put themselves forward for selection. (current players please update via website).
Fingers crossed for fine weather and the President Colin Silcock will look forward to welcoming you all personally on the day.
