Clitheroe 1st XV play their first ever cup final this Saturday by competing in the Raging Bull Bowl Finals
The final is at Rossendale RUFC and kick off is at 1:45pm
Our opposition are University of Liverpool Vets 1st XV [thats vets as in Mr Herriot}
Clitheroe's route to the final included wins over West Park, Tarleton and Oldham. Whilst the semi final at Old Bedians turned into an epic affair with Clitheroe squeaking through by the slenderest of margins.
The Vets meanwhile have had an excellent season, loosing only two games and topping league 3N. On their cup run they overcame Wilmslow, Burnley, Broughton Park and Marple.
So obviously they are a confident young team and although we know very little about them it should be an intriguing match up. Despite it being a leap into the unknown!
The weather looks fair so should be an excellent day out.
Prior to our game,at 12 noon Crosby St Marys 1st XV play Helsby 1st XV for the Raging Bull Plate.
And at 3.30pm for the Raging Bull Jug Preston GH 3rds play Wilmslow 2nds.
[b]Please note: to all those booked to go on the bus [which is full]
It will be leaving at 12 noon. Without you if you are late. Thanks
