Return to Rugby: March '21

Things are a-moving once more

Monday, 29 March 2021By Bob Wilkinson

Hello to all CRUFC Members & Supporters. We hope you're all well and excited for the return of rugby lying ahead.

With a tentative but controlled lifting of COVID restrictions gathering pace, training is resuming THIS WEEK, as per government and RFU guidelines and we'll be at Stage D1 initially. If you haven't hear from you coaches yet then please contact us as per the contact information below.

We're eager for training for both seniors and juniors to start as soon as possible but also stress that we must continue to apply the COVID secure controls we had previously until restrictions are relaxed.

The next big date in the diary comes on 12th April, or practically on Saturday 17th April, when we aim to open up the bar and serve those coming to the club in the outdoor areas or in front of the club and possibly the pitch. Look out for more information shared on Facebook over the coming weeks.

As the restrictions loosen yet further after 17th May, we aim to open up the bar inside each Saturday and throughout the summer, especially when bearing in mind the upcoming British & Irish Lions' tour to South Africa, which sounds like is still going ahead. Yippee!

Please bear these important dates in mind as we want to welcome as many people into the club as is safely possible each opportunity we have.

Take care and we most definitely look forward to seeing you at the club very soon.
