Saturday Round Up
Derby Day Win for the 1sts 2nds come valiant second at Littlemoor
Monday, 19 September 2022By Roger Holmes
In the opening fixture of the league season, Clitheroe travelled to Colne and Nelson RFC and came away with the points and bragging rights.
A 0-29 win was well deserved in spite of not hitting their straps completely. Thanks to Colne for the hospitality and look for ward to the return game in March.
Meanwhile at Littlemoor the 2nd hosted a very large Fleetwood 2nd XV and went down fighting 17-34.
We all go again this coming Saturday, with another derby game - Burnley RFC coming to Littlemoor.
It is also our sponsors day and an important unveiling to take place about 1.45pm
Further details to follow.
