So a mixed weekend for Clitheroe teams.
The 1s enjoyed a fairly straightforward victory against a subdued Medics outfit, who only really got going in the final 15 minutes. Might have been closer if they had started like that. But it was all over by half time really.
The 2nds had a tough afternoon. With Ormskirk withdrawing , in stepped North Ribb 2's for a friendly game at Silcock Park. It proved to be a little one sided but a game was played in what would otherwise been a blank day. Thanks to Ribb for coming over at short notice.
But at least it gave Owen Phillips a chance to make his Clitheroe, and indeed any sort of rugby, debut at the ripe age of 37. Well done Owen.
Pic below. Owen is the taller one, with Richard Few.
