There was no rugby played on the pitch at Silcock Park last weekend, and indeed the whole division was frozen out.
Instead of postponing and replying the games the NOWIRUL 'Pools Panel' have decreed a 5-0 win for the 2's over Garstang 3rds. Not as good as playing but it is out of our hands.
However the Christmas do went down well in the afternoon in the Clubhouse. A guest appearance from FC himself went down well with the youngsters . A spot of carol singing organised by the Rev Sam Cheeseman was good fun and especially after the local dogs had stopped howling at the strange noise emanating from the Clubhouse.
Great to see a mixture of ages enjoying themselves.
Well done and thanks again to Wombat Promotions aided and abetted by Stanno, Matt, Emma and Simon.
The next games are;
7th Jan 2023
2nd XV v Vale of Lune [a]
1st XV v North Manchester [a]
14th Jan 2023
2nd XV v Garstang [h]
1stXV v Birchfield [h]
