Great result at Ormskirk for the 2nd XV winning 30-52 [to be confirmed] Tries from Joe Weld-Blundell[3], Richard Few [2], Dan Smudge Smith, Matt Mason and Sam White. 6 conversions from Matty Probart.
A good entertaining game and Clitheroe hold the trophy in this two match series. The mythical, & completely made up, Orms-Kirky Cup travels back to Silcock Park in the hands of skipper Kirk Kenyon.
Well done to the travelling support. And Forrest.
Thanks to Ormskirk for the game; played in excellent spirits and the hospitality.
Somehow as other results seemed to go against us we have dropped a place in the table! However there is just one point separating the teams in 3rd,4th and 5th place and we have a game in hand. So all can change in the final run in to the end of the league fixtures. Before the cup campaign begins.
*the 1st XV game was conceded by our scheduled opponents late on Friday afternoon.*
