Below is taken from Carnforth's website.
".....I have received next seasons North Lancashire Two fixture list and teams
Only ourselves, Chorley, Colne, Blackpool and North Manchester remain from last season in a league of 11 teams - hence 20 games. Other teams that have joined the league are good friends West Park Warriors, Eagle (Warrington), Mossley Hill (Liverpool), Newton le Willows, St Marys OB (Hightown, Liverpool) and St Edwards OB
Two of the sides have come from South Lancashire Cheshire 4 and the rest have moved from South Lancs Cheshire 3 and are more than welcome to boost the flagging league.
Hutton, Windermere, Hawcoat Park and Tarleton have moved on whilst Clitheroe 1sts have joined the Miller Homes leagues - this is a great shame due to the friendship and respect between the two sides. With Carnforth 2nds also a league higher than Clitheroe 2nds they wont play each other either.
Our first free week is the opening weekend (05/09) then in a twist of fate we face Chorley (h) Colne(a) North Man (h) and Blackpool (a) before facing Eagle at home - full fixtures to be posted on website....."
Seems a long way from Warrington to be in 'North Lancs'!
I don't [and hope] see it as unconceivable that we can fix up a fixture of two during the season against Carnforth, I for one don't want to miss out on a another trip to the Railwaymans Club!!!
The Miller Homes fixtures, for our 1sts [3N] and 2nds [5N] should be available next week sometime.
