This Friday and Saturday sees the traditional end of season highlights of the Presidents Match and prior to that the Annual Dinner and Presentations.
The Dinner will be full of surprises as usual,who will be Players Player and Most Improved, just how many meals will the Captain manage to eat, will Tatt stay awake, how boring will the speeches be, how rubbery will the chicken be?? All some of the questions being asked about the club. I only know one answer; it is beef not chicken this time.
Be there for 7pm for aperitifs........
The next day as a refresher after the entertainment of the night/morning before, it is the Presidents Invitation XV v Clitheroe 1st XV [3pm]
The 1st XV won comfortably last season, their greater team work paving the way. [Un]fortunately our coach Iain Harris will be refereeing to ensure fair play. As always the make of the Presidents Squad is a closley guarded secret, known only to a select few. Needless to say the average age may be a touch more than the young bucks in the 1st XV!
