This weekend the visitors to frosty Littlemoor are due to be Warrington based Eagle RFC. The scheduled Newton le Willows game has now been switched to later in the season.
we have been trying to play this game for what seems like months as it keeps getting postponed again and again.
The pitch is still fairly solid but temperatures are just hovering a fraction above freezing, so we'll have to see how it goes overnight.
There is no scheduled 2nd XV fixture so at least the selectors have been able to put a full bench together in spite of the half term holiday absentees.
Our referee is Mr. Michael Hull of the Manchester Soc.
