This Week's Update

Still no rugby...................

Sunday, 19 April 2020By Roger Holmes

With still no sign of us getting back on the pitch and in our clubhouse, we're all still under house arrest.
Hopefully everyone is still keeping well and managing to keep fit and not get to frustrated.

Meanwhile, to keep spirits up, it was Week 3 of Tom's Big Quiz.
Last weeks victors , the demon duo father and son Team Procter over in Longridge were setting the questions in the guest slot.
As it turns out Pund has run Professor Brian Cox close in his knowledge of astronomy and all things in planetary. Who would have known?
Thanks for that John & Craig - space cadets.

Bob's music round got of to a bad start and went downhill after that. Technical problems at chez Wilkinson he claimed, apparently , but we sort of got there in the end.

CRUFC's answer to Jeremy Paxman - our own Tom Hardman was going well until a simple schoolboy maths error wiped the smile from his face. (see me after boy!)

Ultimately another good giggle, but it threw up more questions than answers:
why was Kirky wearing a dead sheep on his head?
Why is Wilkinson Jnr still chained to his sisters bed?
Why has Tubber got two screens going at once?
What the hell has Nathan Walton done with his hair?

Plus many others...good to see new entries from Jenni , Josh , Jesus (available now Easter is out of the way). Wombat, keeping the front row end up. Good to see Bleasey complete with entourage as well.

So who won? Not sure but the winners prize of a bottle of Prosecco was virtually passed around from Happy Pete, to the declared winner Phil Forrest Winstanley(or Mrs W more likely!), via several pairs of hands [no knock ons]

Thanks to all ...stand by for the next installment.

PS: it was a lot quieter without someone..........
