This Saturday apart from seeing England pile on a hatfull of points against the Irish and the Frogs giving the Welsh the hurry up [sorry Coach Llewellyn] to give us the 6 Nations Championship, the 1st XV have a much delayed return fixture against Warrington side Eagle.
The reverse fixture was only a few weeks ago - and after taking a lead Clitheroe imploded to run out 20-7 behind.
But the lads have trained well and with a [hopefully] firm pitch confidence is still good. So much so that the Skipper has given himself a week at Cheltenham to fully prepare. We look forward to divvying up the winnings in the bar.
Our referee is Mr Andrew Eastick of the Manchester Soc.
All welcome for the games on the TV. England at 5pm.
Meanwhile the 2's make the short trip along the A59 to Blackburn to face the 'mighty 3rds'
Again the visitors to Littlemoor in October, Blackburn came out 8-24 on top, so on their own patch will be a tough old oppo for Bobbys lads.
