This Saturday the 1st XV play their first game of the season at Littlemoor
The visitors are Tarleton 2's with whom we had a few open and exciting games with last season. Tarleton are/were a youngish team with plenty of flair and the liked to chuck the ball about a bit. So if the weather is a tad dryer than last week it should be a good game to come down and watch
Kick off is at 3pm and our referee is Mr Simon Vale from the Manchester Society
Meanwhile the 2's make the shortish trip to Bury to play their 2's. With regular skip Dave Watson working, Steve Dowson take the captains arm band for the first road trip of the season.
On Sunday the junior section recommence their training. This week doubles up as registration for the season.
So any budding new players are very welcome to pop down and give it a try.
It's 10-30 start on Sunday
