This Saturday it is the 2nd XV turn to be at home, hosting Kirby Stephen side Upper Eden 2's at Littlemoor.
Both senior games double up this season as league and cup matches at this early stage.
It's a long while since we played Eden and had a few good away jaunts there in the past, so that's to look forward to at the end of the season.
The 2's boosted by the return of co-captain Dave Watson, who could be playing anywhere from hooker, prop, flanker or fly half, are looking a bit more settled and hope to notch up their opening victory of the campaign.
The 1sts travel to Oldham to play their 2's, again cup/league.
They will be desperate to exorcise the ghosts of last seasons game when they imploded from a 20 odd point lead to loose the game by one point.
Both games kick off at 3pm.
Our referee at Littlemoor is Mr Aaron Goodlad. The bar is open as ever and we hope all our guests have an enjoyable afternoon.
On Sunday the Juniors have two games ; the U14's are playing Rossendale and the U16's are facing Orrell.
Games kick off at 11am...get along and support the lads.
