The 1st XV are at home this Saturday with Rochdale 3's the visitors.
Clitheroe will be wanting to put on a good show in the late Autumn sunshine as who knows what the weather will be like next week.
Rochdale have had a slow start to their campaign suffering two early defeats but coming good last weekend against Chorley winning 31-19.
In two meetins last season Clitheroe prevailed on both occasions. In November on a freezing wet day at Rochdale the Littlemoor men won 7-10. Two tries from Richard Edmondon and Joe Smith sealing the game in horrible conditions. [never seen JWB look so cold!!].
In the return fixture at home Clitheroe, on a sticky pitch, overcame 'Dale by 41-5, tries from Rick Sling, Chris Stewart, Lewis Hardman , James Haynes and James Dickinson easing them home.
A far dryer surface is on offer this time so it should be a grand open game for both sides.
Kick off at 3pm ...the usual bar facilities are on offer.
Both Clitheroe's 2nd & new 3rd teams fixtures are off as their oppositions cannot raise a side this week.
Disappointing but we've all been there.
