Happy New Year to all members and supporters of Clitheroe RUFC!!
The first weekend of 2017 sees a packed programme.
On Saturday the 2's take centre stage at home (2.15 kick off) , welcoming Vale of Lune 4s.
The Lancaster side are having a thin time of it so far this season but are a proud large club and shouldn't be underestimated.
Dows and Dave will be keen to kick off the new year in style, so get yourself down to Littlemoor to have some light refreshments whilst cheering on the lads.
Our referee, from the Manchester Society is Mr Andy Irvine. Probably not the former Lions and Scotland full back of the same name. ☺️
The 1st XV travel to Rochdale to play their 3rds. The hosts again are not having the best of luck this season, but their victories have all been on their home paddock.
Plus with Rochdale 1s & 2s also playing at home they will be desperate to win. I'm sure Captain Fewy won't allow it but......be complacent at your peril!!!
Our referee is no stranger, Mr Sandy Woods.
Again 2:15 ko. Post code for traveling support is OL11 5DZ
On Sunday the U16s are in action, hosting Sedgley Park. 11am kick off.
The lads will be determined to avenge the September reverse suffered in the away fixture.
Under the astute coaching of Bob, Jim et al, the team has come on a long way since then.
Support very welcome for captain Joe's squad.
3 'W's anyone? Yes please.
