This Saturday both teams are in thier respective Cup competitions.
The 1sts face North Manchester in the newly formed Lancashire Bowl. The Manchester side ply thier trade in North Lancs Div 2 where they have had an even start to the season having won 3 and lost 3.
But Clitheroe have always found North a tricky side to play against and a close game is on the cards.
Meanwhile the 2nd XV are due to face Fleetwood 4ths in the Raging Bull Plate. Again it is difficult to gauge which Fleetwood team will turn up as they seem to vary in strength as and when some local Army lads are on leave.
Our esteemed referees for the 1st & 2nds are Messers. Paul Houston and Judd Williams respectively. Both very welcome to Littlemoor once again.
***Watch this space for news, the pitch is very wet! Training is OFF tonight [Thurs]*** Though every effort is being made to get these games on.
