Both teams are playing at home this Saturday; the 1sts entertain Ashton on Mersey 2's while Pundys Seconds host Preston Grashoppers.
The 1sts will be hoping to avenge thier early season 26-12 reverse against Ashton. A somewhat of a mix and match side came out a plucky second best on that afternoon against a strong Ashton side who had plenty of strong ball carriers up front and no little skill out wide.
Could be 'a big ask' for Ollie Macs troops but they are undeniably up to the task if they are fiing from the kick off.
Punds men entertain PGH for the first time this season as Preston could not raise a team early in the season.
Our referees are Mr Ben Wood -a exchange ref, for the 1st XV game, and Mr Bob Clayfield from the Manchester Soc. -who is definitely not an exchange ref.
Welcome to all, old and new.
