Both teams have local derby fixtures this weekend; the 1sts at Pendle and the 2's travel to Burnley.
After an exciting but muddy 17-17 draw at Littlemoor before Christmas, the somewhat drier grounds should make for an equally absorbing contest at Pendle RFC.
The hosts are lying in 5th position in North Lancs 2 and are always a handful on their own paddock with their own vocal support behind them.
They are a well coached outfit and can play some expansive flowing footie, if allowed.
For a one team club they have done exceptionally well in their first foray into the RFU league setup this season.
Meanwhile the 2's have trip to Burnley. Having reneged on the early season away match, it means unfortunately, but correctly there is no home tie at Littlemoor this season.
But Burnley are a good club to visit and a good competitive match is bound to be on the cards.
