This Saturday sees Capatin Bobby Wilkinson's 2nd XV play their opening home fixture at Littlemoor.
The visitors are old friends Thornton Cleveleys 2's.
Thornton beat Carnforth 2's at home 8-5 last weekend and usually travel strongly.
Clitheroe will be hoping to bounce back from the hefty reverse last week and with the addition of a few returnees from the cricket pitch will endeavour to play as they did in the last quarter of last weeks game. [not the first]
Kick off is at 3pm, and our referee is an old favourite Mr. Judd Williams from the Manchester Soc.
The England V Argentina game will be re shown straight after in the clubhouse.
Meanwhile, the 1st XV travel to play Manchester Medics 1st XV, who play out of Bowden RFC.
The Medics, new into the RFU leagues this season, had an excellent start away at Crosby St Marys winning 20-39.
The Medics have been quite successful in the Student leagues and also seem to have an, as you would would expect, eventful social scene!
So and interesting match up between some young blades and old farts.
